It's three blocks in Barracas, between Brandsen and Avda. Suarez.
The artist Marino Santa María intervened on the front of 40 houses.
Lanín Street, this small alley in the Barracas neighborhood, is home to one of the most interesting examples of urban art in the city. The work of visual artist Marino Santa María, a resident of the street, consists of the facades of 35 houses, which were painted with different shapes and colors, and then covered with mosaic tiles to preserve the designs. The project began in the 1990s with the facade of the artist's studio. The neighbors were so impressed with Santa María's work that they asked him to continue his art on their own facades. Finally, with the support of the City Government, UNESCO, the Museum of Fine Arts, and various companies, the project was completed along the two blocks.
Another street in the city that you can't miss.
